In my active project in 2023 I have a flat ground which is sculpted. It took me a few hours to do this, because it is my backyard which is not very even… I wanted to convert my project from version 2023 to 2025. If I do this, everything is fine except the sculpted ground, it is now completely flat and shifted… I also tried to convert it from 23 to 24 and then from 24 to 25, did not help. It would take hours or days to resculp everything… Does anyone know how to fix this? Or am I supposed to use 2023 or 2024 forever? btw: the Conversion from 2023 to 2024 was not faulty.

solved it.
the sculpted surface of the flat ground was there, I just did not saw it, because the ground object was moved many meters.
Thats because in 2023 the origin of the flat ground is in the center and by converting it into 2025 the origin is set to the edge/corner of the flat ground.
in the converting the origin is not moved and stays where it is. Because of these points the flat ground body itself was moved by the half of its width and length. And that were so many meters i didnt saw my sculpted surface.
Just move it back (xyz) by the half of its width and length in minus-direction. Now the ground is there where it was.
I dont know if somone had or will have this problem, maybe it helps.
This would appear to be a major bug, or maybe it’s intentional as they didn’t notice or address it over the 3 preview versions of 2025? Do you know how far off exactly the origin is, so we can move it back? What happens to all the hosted vegetation people spent hours implementing? Mine is floating in the air right now.
My sculpted flat ground is 4096m in x and y, so it is a square.
The Origin in version 2023 is in the center. in 2025 at the corner. So i had to move it back in x and y with -2048m (half of 4096). Height is ok.
But now I realise, that the sculption is a bit different and all the vegetation is missing, which was added with a brush.
Just the single placed trees and bushes are OK. Whole other vegetation is missing or moved so far away, that I can’t see it.
So same problem here…
As long as this problem is not solved, I have to go on in Version 2023 and cannot use my actual project in 2025.
