False positive IP sanction on original asset pack (Post Soviet Bathroom) - Appeal unjustly denied

Hello,

I am writing to bring attention to an issue with a false-positive automated copyright sanction on my asset pack. My appeal was recently denied with a generic copy-paste response, and I would appreciate it if Epic staff could look into this manually.

Publisher Profile: White Noise Tea

Listing Name: Post Soviet Bathroom

Listing ID: f3964980-8332-414a-9e92-0d172d3a235c

Sanction ID: 8248f52b-ec7a-4d2a-9a53-4380af322cbd

My completely original asset pack was flagged for “Infringing or Unauthorized Content relating to Epic Games Content Guidelines.”

This is a clear false positive. Back when the store was still the Unreal Engine Marketplace, this exact pack went through a strict manual review by Epic Games moderators. At that time, I explicitly changed several labels and stickers to meet all guidelines, and the pack was fully approved for sale. No new content has been added since then.

All meshes (FBX) and textures (TGA) were created entirely by me from scratch. There are no copyrighted logos, real-world trademarks, or ripped assets from other video games. Any texts or signs are completely fictional and hand-painted to fit the generic post-Soviet visual aesthetic.

The automated system flagged this incorrectly, and the moderation team closed the appeal without a proper review, likely because I no longer archive the older layered source files (PSD). However, I have all the final production FBX models and TGA maps ready for inspection to prove the originality of my work.

Could a community manager or Fab staff member please escalate this ticket for a proper manual check? It is very discouraging to have original work removed by automated tools after it already passed a manual human review in the past.

Thank you,

Aleksandr

The difference is, people no longer look at these things. An AI had a look at this image and saw shampoo bottle from nivea and head&shoulders. Even if you have changed a few letters, AI can’t really tell the difference

I was suspended for even less. You can’t have objects anymore that look like real life products. Which in my opinion completely defeats the purpose of it, but it’s unlikely to change.
