Fakeinterior : Interior Texture

Hello, I’ve been researching how to create the interior texture in the City Sample Buildings sample, but I’m not sure how to do it. Can you please help me?


I made the cube part



I don’t know about the interior texture part.

I dont think your texture is alright, there in the place actors tab you have a SceneCaptureCube, you must use it and then cast it to a texture in the Scene Capture Details tab. It should look something like this :

After you have that, you can export it outside unreal to save it and import it again so is not attached to the camera anymore.

After that is as easy as using the Interior cubemap function in the material connecting your just created texture to it like this:

Remember the texture MUST be a cubemap texture otherwise it won’t work

I did it as shown in the picture.
The furniture comes out dented.

City Sample Buildings
I plan to create the cube map and interior separately like in the sample.
You can create a cubemap part, but
I don’t know how to create interiorcolor and interiordepth parts.
