I had the same error when I was trying to create a metahuman identity with a very high-polycount model (the model is originally for 3D print so it’s very detailed). Not sure if the cause to my problem is the same as yours but one of the error log messages I received was “… vector too long”, so I thought it’s probably the polycount, I reduced the polycount in Maya and then reimported into Unreal and it worked!
