failed to reimport base mesh with new file

HELLO everyone… I don’t have much experience using Unreal, but I’ve been practicing a lot the last few weeks. I’ve been using a model to animate and now I need to modify its body (add a belly essentially).
I exported the FBX and re-imported it to Unreal. I’m following a couple of tutorials on Youtube, one of them recommends to re-import the base mesh with a new file but it fails as you can see in the attached image.
Another video shows a different process, just to replace the mesh in the window called “components” (see attached), select the mesh and add the one I need. In this second option I don’t know why doing the same steps the “component” window does not appear (my UE version is 5.1.1) and I am not able to do that step.
My goal is to change the mesh for this new one that I modified, and use the bones of the old model.
Is that possible? sorry for making this text too big and for my hazing

There’s a button in the mesh editor

This will handle everything, except if you want to have the import dialog window again. There’s an editor preference for that

Thanks for the reply. I just imported and replaced the model I need. But now I have a different problem. As you can see now I have 2 models, the one I need has no textures.

Update: I finally got functional bones, the mesh I need, but lost the materials. I’m so sorry to be so silly with this, thanks in advance.

Now I got the materials, I’ll show what I did in case someone else need it
