failed to reconstruct all cameras

Just out of curiosity I have tried your promising software on http://www.robots.ox.ac.uk/~vgg/data/data-mview.html (dinosaur) dataset. Because I do want to reconstruct my models in very similar setup conditions as they use.

Nevertheless one third of the cameras has failed to be reconstructed! I would understand if the cameras wouldn’t be used in reconstruction, but they didn’t even get registered! (See attached image, third of the cameras is missing, many images skipped.)
(I have converted the original .ppm images in irFan view to .png files <- Could this ruin the reconstruction?)

Please could you suggest how to fix this, or clarify why this happened? I would love to use/buy Your software, but this didn’t convinced me :(.

Anyway, I will be watching Your development closely, hopefully You will figure all the quirks quickly :wink:

its all about properly captured images, plenty of overlap, good sensor coverage, plenty of features to detect and etc. ( basic of photogramemtry )

try change to set higher points detected

ALIGNMENT -> SETTINGS ->
MAX POINTS DETECTED = 80k
PRESELECTOR = 40k

DETECTOR SENSITIVITY = High or Ultra
