Hi, I have encountered the 'Failed to parse quixel asset' issue i see some others have come across.
I'm working in Win 11 through Parrallels on the toppest spec M1 Max pro 64GB MBP.
I've disabled Controlled Folder Access as per other threads on this issue but it doesnt help. Is there anything else I am missing? I have Twinmotion installed on the mac side also and it the quixel download works fine. ( I need to work on windows for Revit directlink)
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Hello ,
Thank you for posting in the community regarding this error, and many times this is related to an issue with a specific asset. If the issue is with all the Quixel Libraries, you might have a corruption somewhere and recommend you follow the instructions in this article (Note: You will need to redownload the assets) https://twinmotionhelp.epicgames.com/s/article/Missing-Quixel-or-Skydome-Assets-in-Library-Menu
If the above suggestion did not help and is only happening to a specific asset, would you be able to submit a bug with the details of the problematic assets using this form so we can best troubleshoot this behavior:

Kind regards,

Update:
I tried changing the Quixel DL folder to a folder on my mac desktop, and it worked. Have just tried the same on Windows - changing the path in preferences to a folder on my windows desktop and it also works.
Thanks for replying Vincent.
It seems to only be mesh downloads being effected. Surfaces and Decals are able to be dropped into the scene, but not 3D assets or 3D plants.
The actual assets all download fine, and I can see them in my cloud folder. They just dont load into the scene..
I followed the above link directions, nuking the .tml files but that didnt work either..
Same here, also reinstalled the trial version that was working now is not. So I followed everything and nothing is working, please help work is a bust now.
