Failed to open map file. This is most likely because the map was saved with a newer version of the engine. im using unreal 5.2 and im tryin to open the electric dreams demo.

Is your current version of 5.2 up to date? There was a recent update (5.2.1) and that is a possible cause of it not opening with that error.
