Failed to load map

Hi guys,

I was working on a personal project in uni and uploaded my project to one drive to continue working on at home. I’m certain we used 5.3 in uni and I have that installed on my pc but I get this error whenever I try to open the project..

Failed to load map!
../../../../../../Users/Hannah/OneDrive/Desktop/Personal Projects/MilitaryBase_25_08_25/Content/ThirdPerson/Maps/ThirdPersonMap.umap is a UE map [File:v522|1,011], from an engine release newer than this [Cur:v522|1,009].

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Seems like you used a UE version later/newer than 5.3

Yeah this is what I’m confused about as the university pcs used 5.3 :confused:

Right click your project projectname.uproject > switch unreal engine version to 5.3
