While trying to install Unreal Engine 18.8.1 I am getting an error:
“The Epic Games Launcher setup wizard exited prematurely”
I am running the install as Administrator, and have checked that there are no traces of any previous install. (Including registry)
System is Windows 11 Pro, Intel(R) Core™ i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz, 16GB Ram, Nvidia GTX 960, and 800 GB of free space.
Any suggestions?

Since you have already cleared all traces from any previous install, even the registry, then there’s one method left to try, which is installing UE from the Microsoft Store.

you don’t need to install as admin. probably wouldnt’ want to anyway.
check your antivirus.
otherwise you can install using the source on github.
