I don’t understand this activation things.
I have registered and logged in, submitted unlock.bin
and it says only “invalid name”
What does “invalid name” means ???
Feel like I just wasted 20 minutes to try.
Which license type?
Steam? Promo? CLI? …
Also, the demo version cannot be activated (maybe the steam one can? I don’t use that one).
On your MY page on the realitycapture website you should be able to download the version of RC that can be activated with a license.

are you trying to activate the Demo version of RC offline? Can you please post a screenshot of that error message? Does this appear after loading the unlock.bin file and clicking activate button on our webpage? Did you generate the unlock file via the application?
