Fade Effect

How can I do this Fade effect, this is not an animation it is a image I have tried everything but I wasn’t able to achieve this type of effect:-

Like Shown on the left side of the screen:-

You could add a translucent image to the menu UI. The image would have a gradient material applied to it.
