Fade an object in an animation

Im a newbie to ue5.1. I simply as possible want to create an animation where a uv texture asset fades slowly away. I can do it using the dither node but it looks noisy and you can see banding lines as it fades. In any other software you would just set the opacity to fade an object in the timeline. However, this does not work on a uv mapped object and seems to need overly complex node setups.
I’ve seen many people asking the same question, so maybe its time UE developers made an easy way to achieve this? Seems this question has been around for several years on various sites, but still no simple answer has been developed for this.
If anyone has a simple answer please let me know?
