Facial mocap data not rendering

Hi all!

We’re working on an animation project in unreal and have used rokoko to capture facial animation data. It’s driving Morph targets on the character and works fine in the sequencer. The problem arises when trying to render, simulate or PIE. I can scrub through the sequencer and it’s fine but hitting simulate and scrubbing through results in the characters faces being stuck in their rest pose.

I’m sure we’ve set something up wrong but can’t for the life of me figure out where to look for solutions.

It’s probably because the sequence hold the recording, but if you hit Play, the facial rig is still connected to the Live Link node, so try to disconnect the node and see if it works.

Yeah I thought that might have been what was going on too but we’ve removed the nodes that come from live link. I’ve just rolled back in version control to an earlier version that was working. This may do for now but I’d love to know what could have caused it.
