Hello.
I have question about licensing of assets that previously was marked as UE-only content, with restriction to use it outside Unreal.
As example we have two different packs of assets:
First is Paragon assets, which not have label UE-only content anymore (this what it was before, on Unreal Marketplace Licensed for use only with and under the same terms as the Unreal Engine. You may not use the trademark PARAGON to advertise or name your game.).
Next is City Sample, which have such in it’s description UE-Only Content - Licensed for Use Only with Unreal Engine-based Products
Like, what are difference between them, now?
For example I willing to use such assets in my game which I creating using Torque3D engine. Is this possible?
Thanks.
Yes, this needs urgent clarification. There is nothing right now saying that those assets can’t be taken out of Unreal and used in another engine. How are people supposed to realize it’s prohibited if Epic removes the information that tells them so?
