Hello
I uploaded an animation package. The support team reviewed it and gave me feedback.
“The project still does not function properly when launching without the config folder. Asset Packs are not distributed to customers with this folder, so please ensure the product functions as intended without this.”
As you can see, they want me to delete the config folder and they said that the project should work this way. However, when I delete the folder, Unrel Engine recreates itself and all the animations I uploaded to the scene are lost. I am not selling a completed project, I am just selling animations. I sell more than 20 animation packages on fab.com and this is the first time I have received such a request. How can I solve this?
You will need to make a project without any project and engine modification setting.
The only thing that should change from client side is the default map, default game instance and default world setting.
But it kinda weird that deleting the config file remove the asset placed on your level map, did you used spawn from level map bp or something like that ?
I didn’t change anything. I even created a default project and added animation to it to try what you said. Then when I deleted the config folder, the map changed and the animation was not on the map. I think this request cannot be realized.
If the map is changed to OpenWorld, then yes that is expected. The user should just open the level map file(demo map) from content browser.
How many times did you do a re-submit ?, it often not the same person to review your re-submitted a project. I had a similar issue where one person spot error A and then another person spot error B
