I payed over 25$ for two products. I did not get the Substance 6 months free license, as stated on the Fab site.
I contacted the support.
They told me, I need to pay 25$ and then I get the license.
I said, if they can not provide me the license for any reason, I request a refund. But as you can see, I payed over 25$. I told it clearly, I did the purchase.
After that, they refunded it. I again got the answer: I need to pay over 25$.
I said, yes, i did! I payed over 25$! Why are you refunding now my purchase?! Just crazy…
It seems, either the support hasn’t even access to what I bought and doesn’t know anything. It seems, there is none to little competence to solve issues.
In my eyes, it seems to be an absolute scam. Should I now talk to a laywer to solve the problem? Or why is the support not able to solve the problem?
Since Fab came up, I only had problems with this site. I’d never recommend anybody to buy anything here. I am saying the truth here, I can even prove it if necessary.
So, laywer or not? Please note: I made a screenshot of the Substance offer, as well as screenshots of legal information.
I notice, that the price without VAT is lower than 25$. But, there is no information clearly stated on the main advertizing page (https://www.fab.com/adobe-promo), that VAT is not counted in in that case. This is why I stronlgy felt I got somehow scammed. Maybe I did not understand that there is hidden information about that VAT isn’t included in the calculation here - if there if even is. I am still very confused, regarding what the legal bases are that can be applied here.
Please note, that I could not change my first post, it might be not a scam here! It might have been a misunderstanding due to missing information on the advertizing page. So, I am sorry, if I misunderstood what has been meant with “25$”! For me, making a purchase of 25$ is paying 25$, which I actually did!
Hi @bvonline . Indeed it was intended to mean the pre-tax amount, not the post-tax amount. But we could have been clearer about that. Has a member of the support team reached back out to you?
