Tried to publish, and just received a sanction for reason being “file type”.
I uploaded ZIP file, as that should be supported. No way to learn anything more about the exact reason.
I appealed the sanction and that was held, now feeling like I am on Interpol watchlist for trying to publish.
This is pure horror.
Not sure if I even want to continue knowing that I can get hit by random sanctions for any reason any time, potentially cancelling my whole store.
It takes insane amount of time to get products up. Not sure if worth it at all.

Yep , agreed , don’t like much about FAB at all. Why did they switch away from the marketplace anyway?

fab disgusting service, there was a convenient brige where on request you always clearly give you the desired result, in Fab, but in order to use the library quixel I need to do unnecessary actions and in addition, the search does not work as it should and does not give the correct results.

Cut costs replacing people with AI and making more money making here pretty much being the only option buyers and sellers can find stuff (Let’s be honest, CG Trader, Turbosquid and Renderhub are garbage)
I agree with all these pointds raised, but most importantly how is content curated… Epic seem to do no quality control checks. How do you tell the difference between a poor / quality product and there no feedback Q/A or review process.
Refunds are not a thing so if you mislead into buying somthing poor you can get no refund on it.

Well, I just bought an asset (fairly expensive) , which the scene size is too small when using with third person manny. It looks ok with fps view in the screenshots. I have contacted the author and they refused to fix, saying it was a lot of work. I sent unreal with pictures of the size issues to unreal but refused refund.

When the fab was first created and the restructuring began, I was very happy, I thought it was a step forward, and I congratulated the guys on their new endeavor, but now I understand that it was a feil.
Although Fab aimed to offer a better experience for users, its current state and functionality do not meet the expectations of many users and developers. Some features from the old Unreal Engine Marketplace—such as detailed reviews and a Q&A section—were important to users, and their absence in Fab negatively affects the platform’s usability.
