Hello everyone especially towards Epic executive or project management who is responsible for FAB project,
I would like to shouw you my view on your new released shop and my point of view which makes this new released project unfit for use.
NEW ADDED) ------- Let us allow remove / hide assets from Library ---------
This is well know ongoing problem, please if you cant do it in an normal way them please introduce and add some kind of pernament filter, where we will be able set what assets we can see in our general library and what we dont want to see…
- ------- “prices from 12$” ---------------
Look, this information give me no value at all, because I am interested to see only profesional prices… Why I/we cant see what we need to see? And I am forced to every time click on an assets and then again click to uncover all prices.
SOLUTION. if you want to introduce “multi tier” prices then lets show us all of them before you click on any asset… or… it should be great to preset your default tier of prices

I believe all world is happy to see, that megascan is still “free” (for standard license),
But please, is it possible also release profesional tier prices for megascans please? I would really like to see final price ranges for your unreal created assest by quixel / megascan because they are probably the best “quality vs price”. -

This is only my personal opinion / or view…, if someone want to charge a 300 for trees as a standard license and then 1000+ for a profesional license and they are selling only trees…
I believe this is a really hardcore, to see some assets / trees in range of 1000+ $ for proffesional license because for that money you can get 3Ds max or unreal or any other profesional sw for that money… and then you can create unlimited stuff.
(But OK yes, I can clearly understand that it is pain to create some really good looking assets… but…)
And my personal opinion and feeling is, if anyone create a new store without tiers prices as it was before fab releaes with unreal marketplace focused on Epic content, then I am happy to go there and start buying from them instead from fab (this is my honest opinion). (Because of selling trees for 1k is a little bit much from my view.)
But I can see your condition here in shop and I believe that you are prohibiting of selling Unreal engine Blueprints on other stores.

NOTE: This is a really important point, I already bought some asset for 300 on your marketplace few years ago and then immediatelly I requested refund because seller use assets in preview that are not in the pack… Unfortunatelly you decliend my refund… And thanks to this, my position is that I will never ever buy any high price assets which I cant try outside of your marketplace, (because you declined my refund request)
- ------------ is there any way to set filter or restriciont for certain published assets? For an example I am interested to see only an realistic looking assets and not other anima / one color / a few color or low poly style assets ---------------
This tickbox would really help and clean a common assets towards a high quality assets and I believe people who is creating a high quality assets would appreciate this, that people can see only their superior assets instead mix it with others.
I have no problem with “anima / simple assets” for mobile phones,
but if you are focused on buying only high quality superior looking assets such as from megascan or other certain sellers, then unfortunatelly you need to skip approx 90% of assets, and this is a really time consuming … especially if store is not build to go through thousands assets per minute in your browser.
SOLUTION: just set category in which assets it is bellong to before an asset is published … for example “super realistic asset, low poly assets, anima one / a few color assets”

I and I believe also many others hope that we will be able to use any assets from fab in 5.2.1 or any older versions, if not then me personally I will probably will not use fab at all…
thanks for understanding of this individual view frome one user and thanks to this you can see what people and other companies / developers asking themself what if new FAB support my UE version and what if UE ver is not supported in new FAB…

Thank you and sorry for my honest review, I hope you can see my view and hopefully there will be some great updates as it is all the time in unreal engine development.
Thank you, with respect to developers that is working on unreal engine bugs and new features version that are super amazing.
And I would forget mentoin, thanks also and primarily towards datasmith developers and bridge developers, because without them I wouldnt be able to use unreal in first place. They are more important then unreal engine developers. Thanks to them that we are allowed easily import projects from other sofwares and also thanks to bridge easily apply textures to meshes with one click. Thanks without you it would be pain and probably impossible use unreal in first place.
