Glad to see that Fab finally has a launcher and can export material models to C4D like Bridge.
However, there seem to be some bugs and drawbacks to exporting, such as not supporting materials like Vray and Corona, and Arnold not having support for GraphNode materials.
What I want to ask is whether Fab allows users to submit code. If possible, I would like to add the above content.
I have previously created an importer for Bridge, and of course, you can also merge my code if you want to.
Thanks for reaching out to us. Please note that the following versions of Cinema4D are supported with Fab launcher:
2023
2024
2025
The supported renderers are:
Physical
Octane
Redshift
Arnold
We are continuously working to enhance stability and reliability across the supported environment, so your input is always valuable. If youâre experiencing any issues with supported plugins, feel free to share the details, Weâd be happy to help!
Also, Iâve passed your note about the code submission to the team. Iâll follow up with you once I hear back from them.
Hey guys @Freudinsky@panadacoenta Please note that our team is looking into it. I will get back to you as soon as I hear anything from them. @user_d57bed5567c6ebd0d9c366bdca1f6d22748c0d2ab9a9d30f96035d Please click on âInstall Pluginâ as shown in the screenshot to install the plugin and then you can try to export your assets to C4D.
Hi @Freudinsky@panadacoenta, A fix has been deployed for the problem you were experiencing with Cinema 4D.
You should see an âUpdate availableâ notification appearing in the launcher after closing and reopening Fab, as well as in the "Download Managerâ of the Fab tab.
I still canât install this plugin. Maybe itâs because I installed my Cinema4D in a non-default folder. Is there any way to install it without using the Fab app manually?
