Fab - No refund for asset that don't work

I’m writing to express disappointment in Fab in handliing refund on assets that don’t work advertised . I bought this asset on sale (wasn’t cheap, $175), and the scale is too small when put against third person manny. I can’t even walk through the doorway etc.




I’ve written to author, who said the scale is smaller than manny asked me for more money to fix it. I requested refund, he refused and ghosted me. Fab support also refuses to refund, saying I must get author approval.

I have bought thousands of items from Epic Marketplace. When asset doesn’t work as advertised, the old Epic marketplace will review and refund. This new Fab is disappointing, as a marketplace, they should take responsibility that assets work.

well the description clearly say 1:1 so the author is not to blame on that.
asset does work as expected, have you seen a 1m80 european visiting traditional asian building ?
it’s probably because of that that you claim didn’t get accepted.
select entire scene, groupe it, scale it and call it a day ?

you can’t just scale it that easily, A lot of props in place will not be correct.

If I’m in the EU, I’m entitied to refund for software that don’t work. If you have an asset and see, the prop/rooms are really too small (see the small room there). Nothing to do with european 180m unless you mean its for dwarves.
