Fab is becoming unusable with the Automated moderation

I just spent days resubmitting all my asset from my last suspension that ended 5 days ago, making sure nothing in them could be copyrighted material. Just to be suspended again and this time there is nothing in my assets that could cause issues.

And don’t lie how we get multiple emails and warnings. I was again suspended with no warning or a way to fix the issue. This is costing me a lot of income.

I’ve already said many times the system is broken and as minimum it needs a human who checks these decisions. But nothing has been done after a year and people keep getting banned for smallest or non existent issues.

I’ve been selling here for many years and I was one of the most popular sellers on sketchfab, Fab still uses my assets for their marketing to this day. Am I really so untrustworthy, where I need a full 2 week suspension instead of a warning or an email.

I don’t spend these 2 weeks crying about it and looking how to fix these 5 minute issues. Only choice I have is to start selling on other stores, something I never did before as I was able to focus on Fab full time.

It’s again the same loop. Customer support stating that they can’t change it(which is a lie, they removed a suspension last year) and sending me to sanction page(which is useless by design).

In the Sanction page you only have one attempt to appeal. From the 30 times I have tried, without fail, I get an email a few hours later saying the sanction stays in place. Since then I have learned from customer support that:

  • Sanctions can not be removed
  • And they are not allowed to legally say what the reason for it was

So making an appeal has absolutely no purpose, except for customer support having somewhere to send you to bash your head against a wall uselessly.
