Hi everyone, I would like to share 3 feature requests to improve the Fab marketplace for sellers.
1. Require Text Feedback for Low Ratings
- Problem: Users can currently leave a 1-star rating without any written explanation. Sellers often face unfair 1-star reviews with no context, making it impossible to address the issue or report malicious ratings to support.
- Solution: Please make it mandatory to write a text review when leaving a rating. Written feedback allows sellers to understand the issue, resolve it, or appeal unfair reviews to support for removal if the seller is in the right.
2. Real-Time Wishlist Metrics
- Problem: The sales dashboard currently shows how many times an item was added to wishlists over a month. However, if an item is added 20 times but purchased 10 times, it is impossible to know how many users still have it wishlisted right now.
- Solution: Change the wishlist statistic from “monthly additions” to an active, real-time counter showing the current number of unique users holding the product in their wishlists.
3. Breakdown of Downloads by Unreal Engine Version
- Problem: The dashboard shows total monthly downloads but does not specify which engine versions users are downloading. Sellers might waste time supporting older versions (like UE 5.1) without knowing if their audience has already moved on.
- Solution: Provide a statistical breakdown showing download counts for each specific Unreal Engine version. This will help creators optimize their development focus and update the most relevant versions.
