Fab.com free assets license question

Can I use free content from fab.com like this:
https://www.fab.com/listings/cf0e09ac-8e22-42d9-89d2-a991b8cadc0f
https://www.fab.com/listings/d11cc01d-9422-41b7-950f-416c9ce79caf

for Commercial use-I will use this assets to assign materials to 3d models in my scene, also I will use 3d model assets to fill my scene with foliage or otherwise, I will render this than to image or video which I will sell to my client (client will show video to his customers etc.)?

My main concern is that free content (like those on links above) doesn’t have option to choose exact license (personal or professional).

Hi @Arsolar007 . Quixel assets are made available under the Fab Standard License so how you use the assets just needs to be in line with the text of the Standard License EULA.

Ok i looked at the Standard License but I still don’t understand it exactly. Because i can’t assess what does it mean for free content.

If something is covered by the Fab Standard License, whether you get it for free or you pay for it, the same terms apply. There are no different rules for free content.

I’m asking this because, for assets that are not free, you can choose between a personal or professional license. However, I don’t see this option for free assets, which is why I’m asking.

As far as I know, personal and professional aren’t 2 licenses; they are just 2 tiers of the same license - the standard license - depending from your income at the moment of the purchase.
So, all products (free or paid) are under the same license, the standard license.

@berguina Thank you for clarification. Is it generally acceptable to use assets from fab.com, licensed under the Standard License, in an ArchViz scene and sell videos or images that include them? I can’t get clear answer on the question on my own.

I’ve found this in the EULA

So, it seems that, as long you only distribute the video/images and not the actual assets, you should be fine.
In Fab EULA, at the difference of the one for the old Marketplace, there is no distinction between Epic/Quixel content and other creators content. It seems for both the same rules are applied.

Moreover, I didn’t find any distinction between games and other applications (films, archViz, etc).
@skfabby can you please confirm this?
