FAB - Can't import from Sketchfab without modifying every single license then publish as a draft??

Ok, so even the new forums are broken because I can’t see the window where I’m typing in this new layout.

In any event, WTF is wrong with the migration system from Sketchfab to Fab? It is insanely cumbersome. I have tons of FREE models I’ve made available under Creative Commons, but I have added in non-commercial and sharealike. FAB DOES NOT SUPPORT THIS LICENSE. So I have to manually go in and edit every single model in Sketchfab because there is no bulk edit feature.

Next, once I spend days and days doing this, the models get imported. BUT, Fab won’t allow them to be published. Instead, even thought they’ve been on Sketchfab for years already, they are marked as “draft”. So I have to go through and mark each one as not containing adult materials, and submit it, then wait. Each time it’s multiple UNNECESSARY steps that are wasting my time - all so I can give away FREE STUFF.

The folks at Epic should be embarrassed by these sorts of things. Did nobody test anything? Fab was announced at Unreal Fest 2023! They’ve had a year to get it right. Why is it so completely screwed up???

Please fix this.

ALSO - there needs to be a mechanism to either mark models on Sketchfab as “migrated” or to remove them from Sketchfab once they migrate to FAB. Otherwise, you find yourself in a position where there are 30 models that need to be “fixed” to migrate to FAB but you can’t tell which has been migrated and which have not - so lots of time is wasted just trying to figure that part out.

The system is really not well thought out.

Second this - There are lots of features on Sketchfab which are nowhere to be found. Collection, Embedding models on our own site. The most painful is the draft when migrating. I have over 3000 models to migrate and really don’t have the time to spend updating something on a broken system. - It would be great to see FAB tech respond to this.

Thanks for this suggestion, @Paul_Griswold . I’ve shared it (and the general frustration that you and @DH_Age have expressed) with the team. We’re working to improve things, so your feedback is very valuable.
