FAB - Asset Library Custom Categories??

The extra tags for fab are absolutely brutal. Most likely because they’re not enforced in any way. I used to be able to easily filter out environments for example and have dozens upon dozens of assets in that category. Now there’s about 8 under that tag, and I have to manually scroll through my entire library to find the assets I want.

Epic, can you PLEASE allow us to sort assets into our own categories???

Fab has made almost everything about the marketplace 10x worse as I knew it would.

Here’s an example (that I emailed to marketplace support) of how useless the filter tags are:

Agreed. The filters now exclude a lot of content they should include. Please fix…

Even the new tagging system they implemented doesn’t work because nothing is tagged. It’s really frustrating. I want the old marketplace back!

They are not tags, they are mix of tags and categories as before, but they do not work even on the web.

In that categorys I only find old things

At least they could have said that FAV is in Beta phase.

What I was talking about is the new Tags they added to the website search. They are absolutely useless as they often filter OUT the thing you’re looking for:

FabTags

Here’s an example of me searching “Fantasy” and then activating the “Environment” tag which removes most of the actual environments and leaves a lot of props showing in the list.

Well, in part, we’re saying the same thing: the “FAB” search engine is incredibly buggy. I feel like my life is passing me by while I try to search for products. What I’m saying is that “enviroments” isn’t in the name or the tags, but in the “enviroment” category. It seems to me that the categories aren’t in tags.
