It finally worked after many tries!
The key seems to be making sure that the name registered on Fab and the name shown on your submitted document are written in the same language and exactly the same format.
At first, I submitted utility bills and credit card statements, but since I’m Korean, those documents were in Korean—and I believe that’s why the verification failed.
After looking for an alternative, I found that I could request an official government-issued certificate of tax payment in English. That helped, but there was another issue…
In many Asian countries, the family name comes first, and in international English documents, sometimes the family name comes first (like in a passport), and sometimes it comes last (like on most websites).
Because of this, I wasn’t sure which format Fab would accept, so I submitted both versions—one with the family name first and one with it last.
Finally, my address got verified. It took me almost a month to get through this process…
One last note: the document I submitted had my address written in English as well. I’m guessing the language of the address also has to match what’s in your Fab account.
Hope this helps someone!
