Eyelashes groom binding is deforming weirdly

When I bind the groom to the mesh it creates weird lines on it - only short groom like eyebrows and lashes. Is there any way to get rid of them?
The lashes are deforming very weirdly when I’m animating the eyelids. Is it possible to modify the binding asset so it would deform the way that I want? Or do I have to recreate the groom so it perfectly follows the skinned areas?
