Hello, can anyone provide guidance on how to make a proper eye material in ue4? I can’t seem to get it to work. I’m using a simple diffuse/normal setup atm, and playing around with the roughness/spec values I can’t seem to get anything to come together right. I tried a .1 roughness which looks somewhat decent in the shader preview, but in the level its near 100% reflection. I never used a complex shader for eyes in udk, but I was able to get a good enough effect through manipulation of spec/spec power. I can’t seem to get that here. Don’t see any example eyeballs in ue4 atm either, nor any info elsewhere online. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: Seems I posted too soon, just reached a satisfying result.
