Extreme Additional Storage Consumption

I have been working in 5.6 for about two months. I have had no issues with it. After it updated to 5.6.1 I have an enormous data creep. It seems. After having the engine running for only 15 minutes or so the editor jumps from 6 GB to 15 to 20 GB memory usage. The most recent launch of the editor it said I had no memory storage to open. I was confused because I just got to removing around 30 GB that I no longer meeded on my computer. I also remember having about 100 GB of free storage on my hard drive-Before I had cleaned up those 30 GB from other files. I went to double check how large my file was for this project and it says that the project is almost 95 GB large. I have in no way shape or form that much stuff inside of this project. I can no longer work because every time I remove some extra random file for a game from my computer it instantly gets consumed by unreal engine in some way shape or form for no known reason. What is going on?

Logs and Backup files are being generated with 5-20 gig txt files. This accounts for the storage problem - but WHY is it creating such HUGE files??? I’m not doing a whole lot. No more than I was when I first started 2 years ago in 5.0

Still having awful data creep. Running the engine used to only take 7gig. Now after 30~ minutes it hits 29gig…
