Hi all,
I did look around but can’t find a clear answer.
I want to extract audio clips (mainly dialogues), and replace them with something else. I have the pak file of the game.
The purpose is not to take assets out (ripping, as you call it), but to replace/mod the existing ones. The game support modding for the map and assets, but it does not support modding for the audio, and I would like to remove some dialogues and replace them with different ones.
Is there an easy way; without have to go through hacking sites; to do something as simple as that? Thanks
Unless the developer allows you to do it then you can’t.
I just discovered that the game is moddable; from my understanding, all the assets can be accessed from their mod project.
I did get the mod project directly from the UE editor; although I am not sure where to start. I assume that since it is a mod, I won’t be re-compiling the source, so is that even possible or modding is only affecting certain areas of the game?
The game I want to modify is “Bus Simulator 18”. Thanks
depends on what they have made modable, if they let you mod audio, find the file you want to mod, export it, mod it, reimport it.
