V1.4 now comes with color ID mask function as well as a texture atlas 4,7,10,13 and 16 quadrant atlas selection functions allowing you to create a singular texture atlas and use the color ID mask to texture various parts of your surfaces base on the texture mask. In addition these functions are connected to Extile’s non-repetitive tiling functions.
EXTILE was created to eliminate the ugly repetitiveness associated with tiling textures. Using random noise algorithms it can eliminate repetitiveness in both geometric and organic type textures. EXTILE PLUS now allows you to create many surface effects that would otherwise require more complicated workflows giving you endless possibilities with just one material and one texture set.
New capabilities include: grout definition, grout to normal allowing you “cut out” any texture into a pattern, color effects, multiple cutout effects, backside surface with texture effects, texture-less random displacement effects, a UV pattern generator letting you create chevron style patterns as well as circular configurations, add a second texture set, height based dirt and z-up puddles, texture baking and more.
EXTILE’s functionality has been dissected into modular functions letting you create your own non-repetitive materials.
