Exporting UAsset to FBX Problem

Strange behavior, when I export to FBX via the export pipeline and load into Maya, I don’t see any texture? I’ve replicated this on other model viewers.

However, if I export as an OBJ, the UE4 editor typically asks if I want the textures exported separately, to which I respond yes. When I do that, everything seems to load correctly.

Any thoughts?

still dont know this answer i think unreal has to simplyfi alot things like why there is its own pivot system and why there is no simple export system from unreal
