I am trying to understand how the textures for the city sample vehicles work. I would like to export a vehicle with textures as an FBX so I can look at them in blender to see how it translates uvs. I have been able to export the mesh easily but everything I’ve tried to get the textures out has failed. They are Reactive textures for damage and head/tail-lights but I just want the base texture colors and normals. When I export the file from the content browser I only get one small section of just the front doors as the targa image file. If I try to bake the RVT material for the tire it just bakes empty because the file makes the texture at runtime. I cant seem to find a way to export the basic color and normal maps for just the tires (and ideally the interior bits). Any help on how to disable the reactive texturing for the tires so I can just bake their maps out separately would be greatly appreciated.
PS: the whole reason I’m trying this with a car specifically is then to re-import the newly colored car from blender into the car configurator project and hook up the functionality there so I have a more generic car then the standard audi that comes with that project.
Thanks!
