Exporting metahumans from Fab to unreal engine 5.4

I don’t really understand how to import metahumans from fab to unreal because it was easy with quixel earlier we could click on the metahuman and it will be exported automatically to the project. With fab I didn’t find any such interface.

same issue…

I couldn’t find a way either, Quixel Bridge seems to be the only way to import metahumans.

Quixel bridge no longer exists though

Has anyone figured this out yet?

Anyone know an answer for this? I’ve created a custom Metahuman with Methuman Creator, and tried importing from Quixel bridge within my project, but doesnt work? I looked on FAB under Quixel but cant seem to find anywhere do download my custome metahumans?

Hi everyone!
Regarding downloading Metahumans into your project.
I’m running UE 5.5 preview (but it doesn’t matter the UE version).

The UE 5 includes Bridge plug-in from installation, it’s a part of UE 5.

  1. activate Bridge plugin in UE.
  2. under the Window menu, further down under the Get content, you will find Quixel Bridge shows up. Open Quixel Bridge and there you find all the Metahumans from the Metahumans creator and the ones you created yourself in Metahuman Creator and saved THERE! - but you find them here!
  3. with your UE project/level open, download the Metahuman and add it to your project.

In other words, it is the same as you did before FAB was launched.

The Bridge plugin disappeared from the engine after the FAB release.
In pursuit of quantity, it seems they forgot about quality. As a result, there is currently no way to add metahumans to any version of the engine starting with version 5.

This did the trick for me. Thank you, Axomit!

My new metahumans do not appear in the quixel bridge, I tried it on versions ue 5.4 and 5.5
The metahuman editor has the correct versions of the models, I don’t know what to do

Nope. It’s installing automatically with the Engine 5. It’s part of the Engine 5. And you have to activate it in the plugins. Instead, I couldn’t find Bridge as a plugin on Fab/Market as we did before.

I was able to solve the problem when I typed in the search for bridge in the launcher. I installed it, logged in immediately, and my custom metahumans and the rest of the megascan library were already there again
Before fab, it was installed on all versions of engine 5 together. But at the time of fab’s release, in my case, bridge disappeared from the engine. It was not in the plugin selection or in the settings
