Exporting from engine

I’m trying to export some modular pieces from the engine into a 3D software. Using any of the FBX export options (2010-2016), I get very inconsistent results. Mixed results that I can elaborate on but in short, nothing usable.

I can export with OBJ just fine, but the geometry is scaled up 1000% and if I scale down to .1% from origin, the new results are close but not precisely aligned to where they should be.

Maybe I’m just exporting all wrong but I’m curious how this UE4 exporter works.

Shamelessly bumping this. Currently I’ve found a workaround by merging assets in the world and exporting the new, merged asset from the content browser. But that seems kinda silly right, when I used to be able to export from the world?
