I exported a moving camera and a metahuman from Unreal to Blender as .fbx.
The scale of the exported scene is just way too small, smaller than the smallest grid square of the Blender floor grid.
While exporting .fbx from unreal, I can’t find any option to punch up the scale.
I had spent more than a day looking into it. Please someone help!
Yes, this is a known issue. Blender uses Centimeters by default and Unreal Engine uses meters!
There are 2 options to fix this.
Option 1: Make sure blender is using meters.
Option 2: Adjust the unit scale to 100 or Transform the mesh scale by 100 during the export fbx menu.
Hello, may I ask a question? How to I get the UE5 camera location and correct lens into Blender?
-
I exported my UE5 level with cameras as FBX. And in Blender, I imported the cameras as FBX, I adjusted the import transform scale to 100.
-
However, when I import them into Blender, the cameras are in the wrong position.
-
Another question, in Blender, when I select the imported camera and press the camera icon, the camera is pointed at 0,0,0. Not the same rotation as UE5.
