Exporting animation after retargeting has no progress and crashes engine

Hey all,
currently I am struggling with retargeting a mixamo animation to my metahuman.

I created two IK Rigs(mixamo skeletal mesh , metahuman skeletal mesh)
Retargeted the bones and set the Root to Hips/Pelvis

Afterwards I created a Retargeter and selected both IK Rigs and Skeletal Meshes there
On playing the animation both Rigs are moving accordingly to the animation.

Still if I want to export the selected animation, it starts the export in the bottom right progress bar but stays at 0%.
After a bit of time the computer gets unusable and the RAM and Pagefile fills up and the Engine crashes.
Today I upgraded to 32GB RAM, still the RAM gets used to the max but now the engine does not crash. Still the progress stays at 0%

In the content browser I can see the retargeted animation and also can open it and check. Saving is not possible though and the export action is still in progress. On closing the editor and reopening it again the retargeted animation is gone since the export was not finished.

I hope someone can help since I do not know what to try next, I searched a long time for a possible solution but was not able to find anything.

unreal engine has some issues for retargeting, don’t touch the hand bones and try to export again, you can adjust hands manually after the export. if hands are too important for animation or if you have bunch of animations(hard to do one by one) you can try to make in unreal engine 4 and import it to unreal engine 5.

I think I got the solution to my specific problem, leaving the suffix part for the name blank when exporting somehow fixed it.
