Following along in the Drone Mapping Guide part 4, I exported a point cloud, in .las format and got a DWG Trueview Layer State file instead, did I miss a setting or something?
It seems as if the default application for the .las format is set to the DWG Trueviewer.
Press the (Windows) Start button and search for Default apps. In the options at the bottom go to Choose default app by file type, and you can check if it is set as a default there.
This doesn’t mean that it is not a .las file, just that you will use the default app to open it. Setting the .las format to open with just the good old Notebook should solve it.
Yes, it is set to notebook and after setting the correct CRS before uploading images fixed the issue I was having. Thanks for your help.
