Exported Model can't be seen by xNormal

Hi,

I have problem with exported FBX model. I’m using Steam version of RC. Let me explain my steps and the problem:

  • exported simplified normal detail model with texture (about 1.5 million triangles - binary FBX 2014)
  • imported to 3ds Max 2017 to create low poly mesh for baking.
  • imported high poly mesh, low poly mesh and cage of low poly mesh to latest xNormal.
    when i click “generate maps” xNormal gives nothing, normal map is all RGB 128,128,256, it’s empty. All other maps are empty.
  • imported high poly mesh to 3ds max again and exported it as binary FBX 2014 again.
  • imported new FBX to xNormal as high poly mesh and it works. All maps are good.

So I found a workaround but it works with low detailed high poly meshes. When I imported final 140 million triangles FBX to 3ds max to export again, I can’t, it crashes.

I tried OBJ, same problem.

Whole weekend I tried to find solution. What can I do?
