Exported mesh size grows after modifying in Blender.

The file exported from Reality Capture was around 13MB. However, after importing it into Blender for modifications and exporting again, its size increased significantly to about 330MB. What is the reason for this? How can I reduce the size to something similar to the original 13MB?

Additionally, when viewing the mesh exported from Reality Capture in a web GLB viewer, it appears as a gray color without textures.
The mesh directly exported from Reality Capture appears gray, whereas the mesh exported through Blender correctly displays the textures of the mesh. Why does this happen?

Hi @9711,

Which export settings were used in RealityCapture? Did you use any transformation preset settings?
Which import and export settings did you use in Blender? Maybe the scaling was off, therefore increasing the model.
Which GLB viewer did you use?

This is an old post on Stack Exchange so some of the Blender layout might have changed slightly but it has been helpful solving the issue you’re having for others:
