When exporting for DaVinci Resolve(I’ve moved away from Adobe), I’m having trouble exporting a format that Resolve will read.
I’ve tried image sequences, video etc but nothing works, I should note that Premiere for example reads the exports just fine.
I have a feeling that it could be due to the exports not having an initial naming structure before the period, but I can’t find an option to add a name in prior to the frame number etc.
Would love to know if anyone else has a workflow for Sequencer -> Resolve.
I’ve done this and it works fine… The image sequence option works fine for all video software I’ve encountered. The default name ({world}.{frame}) works just fine… {world} will be replaced by your level name and {frame} will be the current frame number in your level sequence.
The only problem I’ve had is when I export EXR and Resolve would just read them as Rec709 or something while they are actually linear and I had to manually set the colourspace.
Solved this on my end too,In the Filename Format box in the render options I need to remove the period before any brackets, with this left in Resolve isn’t reading it as a sequence for import, with it removed it works on all image sequence outputs.
