Export Mesh Failure

Hello

I am struggling to export my model to FBX using the exact same settings which have previously worked fine.  We seem to be getting stuck just before the finishing line.  I have re-started the model importing the registration and re-run normal detail + texture and re-exported.

The clock ran past the estimated finish time which then disapeared, the clock is still ticking. 

Exporting Mesh Files                            100% completed but not quite as according to the bar.

Resource Monitor

Occasional flicker between 3.11 and 3.12

RAM no activity not a KB

No disk activity

Files created but top FBX file showing 0 KB

Properties of file showing 4.41GB

Recap Photo will not open the file so clearly the file is not completed.

Question

  1. do I leave it running and say my prayers?
  2. Abort though trying this yesterday it gets stuck
  3. CTRL ALT Delete end task start over.

could you please confirm when did you post it, whether you stil encounter this issue and in which build exactly?

I would try pausing the process for a while. If it conformed, I would leave it complete the process naturally within a reasonable time. If it didn’t, I would abort it by using the app button. If you end the process using the Task Manager, you will lose some changes made to the project.
