Exponential Height Fog Defaults broken?

Hey all

Ive ran into a problem recently regarding the defaults on the ExponentialHeightFog.

Its seems it automatically renders my seen unviewable as this:

But when density is 0 its fine:

Ive gone through all the settings and made sure they are at default to be 100% sure (using the little undo arrow on anything that had one)

This happens on every new level, either those in the premade templates or if i add my own lighting options (using the environmental light mixer or just the place actors panel)

So something is broken, either the ExponentialHeightFog itself or some settings gone astray in the defaults of one of the others. But if this is the case how can they get modified? Its engine content and a fresh project. Surely the defaults shouldnt change?

Edit: Further investigation reveals the default Opacity for the fog is 1 (This is the issue, but why is it set so high by default?)

Well i cannot find out why all of a sudden the fog settings seem way off by default.

but i will mark this as resolved as i figured out why (fog opacity was maximum and the fog cut off distance seemed bugged till i set it to 0)

All works after setting both to 0 but how and why even on new levels this happens, who knows :man_shrugging:
