Exponential Height Fog Creates a thick wall at the end of my level, how do I prevent this?

I posted a picture of what its doing. I am working on my capstone project and this is something that I just can’t seem to figure out. Does anyone know how to have better control of this fog system?

Hey there @Brian_Lafontaine! I usually don’t see the height fog so aggressive, how large is this scene? See if you can shift the fog cutoff distance aggressively to see if it makes any changes.

@SupportiveEntity Sorry for the late reply, I attempted to shift cuttoff but the difference at 0.001 to 0.002 is so massive its crazy. At 0.001 it entirely seemingly loses fog in the scene. Where as with 0.002 it comes back just as strong. The level is not large but it is a bit long in terms of literal length.

That tracks since it’s exponential fog, that said I have mine set at 0.02 and it’s not even nearly as aggressive until further in the background. Under the setting for volumetric fog, the extinction scale has some large effects assuming you do have volumetric fog on. I’d try tweaking that as well, as it would really determine how aggressive the volumetric side is.
