Explanation Regarding Price Increases on Our Products During the Discount Period

Hello everyone,

I am the seller of V2Store. Unfortunately, we had a team member who decided to raise prices on our assets without informing us. We were unaware of the existence of such a rule. Only our team member responsible for pricing knew about it, and this situation happened unintentionally because that person made price changes without informing us. As a result, we took responsibility and removed this person from our team. We apologize to everyone for this unfortunate situation.

We received a warning email from Epic and had the discounts on our assets removed by them.

We contacted Epic and understood that this should not have been done.

This clearly breaks Epic’s terms:

3.6.2.f The listed product price shown during a sale should not differ significantly from the price at which the product is generally sold. The full price should not be artificially inflated in order to make a better savings claim.

We want to thank the Unreal community members and Epic staff for making us aware of this wrongful act.

We assure you that the prices will remain stable from now on, both before and during discount periods.

We acknowledge our mistake and have taken corrective action.
