Is there any way to exclude the .uproject file from the .pak file of package so when someone extracts it, they won’t be able to open the project in editor? Also if that is possible, can it make any issues in the packaged game?
Due to the large volume of questions and comments concerning the Engine, we did not have a chance to respond to your post at the time you submitted it. However, to answer your question, you should not be able to open a .uproject in the editor at that point because it would be cooked data. If you find that this is not the case, please provide a sample cooked project and repro steps for how to extract the .uproject from the .pak file and I will enter a bug report for this.
