Hi.
Is there a way to exclude objects, or an area from the build process? Do you know whether adding things to a layer and hiding the layer does the trick?
I am using a scene from another project and have things in the scene I want but don’t want to have built until I need them.
I presume the best option would be to migrate or copy/paste from another project or level
Thanks

I think there are a few ways you could exclude things from a build process, but it might only be certain levels that you can exclude. You can of course put it in a layer but whatever is in your content browser will be built with it. The players just won’t be able to see it like putting it in a layer, etc.
If you don’t want it to be built at all with the project, you can of course do as you say, migrate from another project.
Hopefully that helps!

Ah, thanks… and sorry.
When I said ‘build’ I didn’t actually mean build a package. I meant build the lighting etc (next to the play button).
Sorry for the confusion
My apologies! I didn’t understand, you should be able to have two separate levels using Level Streaming, one level that’ll have the built lighting, and the second that won’t have any built lighting.
