Hi Epic,
I have searched far and wide for a detailed or even a brief explanation of some of the configuration for the networking side of Unreal Engine - with no luck.
I understand it is very game specific, but it would be great if we could get some example configuration that you use at Epic for Fortnite (~100 players) and Paragon (~16? players). Also an explanation of what each configuration does and how it impacts the game.
Given the increasing popularity of multiplayer games in Unreal Engine - providing this will help us configure our multiplayer games correctly. I see a lot of people just put 9999999 or a large value without actually knowing what it does.
Below is the kind of configuration I would like more information on, and if you recommend configuring any other settings.
