I’ve played different games - Vermintide, Deep Rock Galactic, and now System Shock. And one way or another, all of these games crashed. Sometimes after a couple of hours of play, and sometimes right at the start. What could be the problem? Please advise what to do.
Computers configurations:
GPU - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti
CPU - Intel i5-12600K
Mother - ASRock Z690M Phantom Gaming
Hard disk with the game and OS - Samsung 980 pro
Power supply - Corsair CV750
Limit FPS, there is hope it is just 3070 overheating.
install some app that monitors temperatures of CPU and gpu, watch it while playing
is your PC new, ie. had it time to collect dust for eg on CPU fan and radiator?
is your PSU new? Its good quality so probably psu is fine.
get on some PSU required power website and calculate if your psu is enough (multiple ssds / hdds do use power, so add them all).
i had DELL laptop that has intel and amd graphics, and bad quality connector for hdmi (quite popular in dell products). So with occasionally disconnecting for a second it made laptop switch used graphics chip, and that made most games go derpy derp. Not saying you have exactly same problem but hdd or usb device connecting and disconnecting may cause crashes.
drivers check them, do clean/complete removel of nvidia drivers, and install ONLY drivers without nvidia marketing expernience and tracking
you also may have damaged memory, graphics card or cpu.
and remove graphics card clean it (with alcochol to remove dirt, do not use WD40 for it!!!)
But check for dust in heatsinks/fans, check temperatures, then check PSU if it has enough power (it should, i am 95% sure)
